A Goof Ring is the ideal solution to cover rough drywall, hide oversized holes or mis-cut ceiling, and the accidental removal of drywall when you upgrade your recessed lighting.
● SIMPLE INSTALL - This trim overlay easily slips onto the back of your recessed light or retrofit light. It fits between the trim of your light and the ceiling drywall to hide unsightly gaps.
● MEASUREMENTS: Our trim ring fits 5” and 6” recessed lighting. Outer Diameter: 8.6”, Inner Diameter: 6.2”, Thickness: 0.12”. Manufactured in a durable polycarbonate plastic with a matte white finish.

Excellent product! I had one light out of 5 where the original hole cut in the ceiling was 1 in larger than the new recessed light. I was designing stuff in my head to fix the problem, then I figured I just Google it and see if anyone else had the same issue. The rest is history...buy this product today!

Excellent. Older metal goof rings corroded severely due to the salt environment, these should do the trick nicely as a maintenance free substitute

It was easy to use and was the perfect size I needed (6 Inch LED recessed lighting). The size was not specified so I took a chance. It fits 6 inch recessed lighting perfect. One side is shiny white the flip side is flat. No need to paint white.
