Directly install retrofit fixture to the ceiling in an existing recessed can for instant on, bright light in your kitchen, family room, bedroom, bathroom and common areas in your home or office. Your source ground wire should connect to your existing can. In that case, attach the ground wire of the retrofit to the can. Simply loosen a screw and wrap the ground wire around, then tighten the screw. It is highly recommended a licensed electrician install your fixture to meet electrical codes.

United StatesPoor protection of lights in shipping and handling.
The first order arrived with no protective packaging or even a simple poly bags on each individual light. They were all scuffed on the white facing with black marks. A replacement order was shipped and 3 of the 4 lights were again scuffed and damaged because they were not individually protected with at least a poly bag.

I haven’t installed this order yet but have used the retro lights and Sunco canless lights previously. Other than a few defective canless lights out of an order of 96, they have been good. More orders will be coming.
