Our new house has these everywhere and we have had to replace three that burnt out n almost caused a fire. We let the builder know but it has cost over $900.00 to track problem down and install new.

Great experience. I am wiring the disks directly to a ceiling box (half inch depth). I do not need the spring or screw in plug. There should be an option to omit these from the order. I just throw them away!! (a waste!)
