White wire is non-energized and black wire is energized. These SEP tubes are single ended power. The tombstones on one end are just for support. Bulbs give great light much better than the fluorescents I replaced. Only hiccup was I received one bulb that didn’t work. I contacted Sunco and got a response back within 24 hrs. Sent out a replacement free of charge. Installed the replacement and everything is good.

Daylight bright
