Free Crime Victim Assistance

Florida has 27 pages of victim rights, which spell out what an innocent victim of a violent crime is entitled to which includes but is not limited to:

  • Medical expenses paid
  • Lost wages
  • Out of pocket expenses
  • Counseling
  • Burial costs
  • Assistance going through the judicial system

The Center will assist with:

  • Filing of victim compensation forms
  • Putting you in touch with a victim advocate in your area (NATIONWIDE)
  • Providing resources
  • Providing continuous support and follow-up


The Center is a nonprofit 501(c)3 foundation funded by grants, local businesses, fund raisers, and contributions from the community.

Speakers are available for civic organizations, businesses, associations, and any interested groups. Call 352-628-6481.

Volunteers, suggestions, questions, comments, and tax-deductible contributions are always needed and much appreciated.

Crimes covered are:
hit and run, elder and child abuse, D.U.I. crash, murder, assault, home invasion, and more.
